- Abstract
The article presents a study which evaluates the potential of clinical and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings in predicting the prognosis of variant and classical type of posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES). The influence of blood pressure (BP) on the involvement of the brain stem in PRES is highlighted. According to the study, the reversibility of lesions and hemorrhage is an influential factor to the prognosis of PRES.
