This article discusses the yeyecatl, or spiritual powers, as part of the religious beliefs of the Nahua indigenous group of Texcoco, Mexico. The author comments on the spirits that represent death, evil, and demonic influences. A comparison between different spiritual powers, including spirits of the water, is also detailed.
