- Abstract
The article focuses on global inequality as of 2012. A total of 80% of the total gross domestic product (GDP) of the world goes to developed countries like the U.S., Western Europe and Australia while the remaining 20% of the global GDP is shared by 80% of the world's population and most live in developing countries. Inequality centers on the distribution of factors like income, education or health and according to the United Nations Development Program, inequality is growing.
