- Authors

- Abstract
The article examines published studies on the use of computed tomography (CT) in the assessment of patients with testicular disease. Testicular tumors have provided an opportunity to evaluate the efficacy of the new technique compared with conventional methods of investigation. Among its advantages are the ability to demonstrate enlarged nodes without the use of contrast medium and accuracy of detection. The impact of CT scanning on staging is also discussed.
