- Abstract
The article reports on the one-third share that will be acquired by energy providers GDF Suez SA and Total SAto build and operate a European Pressured Water Reactor (EPR) unit at Penly in northern France in 2009. It mentions that this was confirmed by Prime Minister François Fillon and they will be working with Electricité de France SA which will take the majority stake. Construction of the EPR unit is scheduled to start in 2012 is also stated.
