The article examines the felony-murder doctrine in the light of driving while intoxicated (DWI) cases. Topics discussed include analysis of punishments for drunken drivers who killed; enactment of Vehicular homicide provisions for prosecuting drunk drivers; and doctrine applied by the court while prosecuting such as merger, inherent dangerousness, and res gestae.
