- Abstract
The article explores the factors that contribute in the development of curriculum in teaching elementary science. Curriculum is characterized of a definite series of studies or activities to be undertaken, and covers broad educational activities. The development of curriculum is dedicated to accomplish certain things for the children in schools, thus the embodiment of a curriculum should consider the children in the development process. Also, scientific thinking should be considered in the development for it applies to all problems and follows scientific methods of attack on problems in all fields of endeavor.
