The article reveals the plan of GHCL Ltd. to launch a retail chain of home textiles stores in India. The company also announced plans to have a presence in exclusive and multibrand outlets across the country, spreading over urban, semi-urban and rural markets. From 2008 onwards, the company intends to tie up with farmers who would provide them with cotton.
