- Abstract
The author reflects on the methods that government agencies and public administration organizations can use to effectively interact with citizens as of 2017, and it mentions human interplay in the information technology (IT) world, as well as citizen complaints about agency operations. The author's experiences as the National Ombudsman in the Netherlands are examined, along with the Dutch General Administrative Law Act, fair treatment, personal contact, and trust in citizens.
