- Abstract
The article discusses research on new approaches in upgrading the quality of effluent in the Sustainable Water Management Improves Tomorrow's Cities (SWITCH) project Tel-Avid Demo City. Approaches in the removal of micropullutants in drinking water and reclaimed irrigation water include the EU RECLAIM WATER project using ultra-infiltration (UF) of secondary effluents and Soil Aquifer Treatment (SAT) contaminant removal using UF/MF/NF membranes. Conclusions stated that the short SAT-NF 270 process effectively removes micropollutants.
