- Abstract
The article discusses the English court case Spencer-Churchill vs. Faggionato Fine Arts Ltd. wherein Mr. Faggionato intentionally mislead Lord Edward Spencer-Churchill during the sale of a painting by American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Mr. Faggionato deliberately sold the painting to the company Jombihis, which is owned by Mr. Mugrabi, a dealer forbade by Spencer-Churchill and Mr. Faggionato collected commission from both the seller and the buyer. The judge of the case granted an injunction.
