- Abstract
With the increasing consumption of easily sorted copper sulfide, the development of copper oxide is particularly important. To solve the problem of insufficient collecting ability of the collector by direct flotation method, BPHA was synthesized from dimethyl phthalate and hydroxylamine hydrochloride, and BPHA was applied to the flotation recovery of malachite. The micro flotation test results show that the maximum flotation recovery of chrysocolla can reach 75. 2% under the flotation condition of pH 9. 0 and BPHA dosage 120 mg/L. Through the analysis! of contact angle and adsorption capacity, t is concluded that BPHA can improve the contact angle and hydrophobic of the surface of chrysocolla. Through infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray electron spectroscopy (XPS)and scanning electron microscope energy spectrometer(SEM-EDS)analysis 1 is found that the agent adsorbed on the mineral surface, changed the chemical properties of the mineral surface, and formed hydrophobic BPHA:Cu species on the mineral surface after the interaction of BPHA with chrysocolla. Thus, the floatability of malachite is increased.
