- Abstract
The article discusses various functions within the International Criminal Court (ICC) as of July 2014, focusing on the ICC's practice of investigation, the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, and the ICC's Office of the Prosecutor (OTP). The ICC's Rules of Procedure and Evidence (RPE) are addressed, along with an appeals chamber's examination of the timing of prosecution investigations in the ICC case Prosecutor v. Lubanga. War crimes investigations by the ICC are also examined.
