- Abstract
This article examines a classroom discussion of a German class in the lower secondary school, in which language is improved by revising previous utterances, both in relation to their language acquisition potential and to the subjectivation of the participants. This reconstruction aims to be able to describe both the subject related and the social implications of the revision process. In terms of methodology, a conversation analysis is proposed on the one hand, and an addressing analysis on the other. As a result, this double approach reveals a close connection between forms of revision, language acquisition potential, and subjectification.
