- Abstract
The article examines the effectiveness of professional laboratory experiences in teacher education. This program is designed to orient a prospective teacher into the practice of teaching. It is also intended to bring theory into practice. However, it was observed that the program is not effective and does not provide prospective teachers the training they should have to prepare them to the practice of teaching. In some cases, college teachers failed to arrange an effective program where students can properly observe classroom teaching.
