- Abstract
This article evaluates the principles of identifying and managing the trainee in difficulty in the field of obstetrics and gynecology in Great Britain. It discusses the importance of appropriate investigation and documentation to internships. It also identifies the role of SMART learning plans in internships. In addition, the article raises the issue about addressing a trainee in difficulty that has personality problems or a potential personality disorder.
