- Abstract
The article presents a case of a 16-year-old man who was rushed to a clinic due to fever, rhinorrhea and cough for three days and was given azithromycin for presumed atypical pneumonia. He developed painful oral lesions and was prescribed acyclovir for presumed herpes stomatitis. He was rushed to the emergency department the next day due to conjunctivitis, rash and dysuria. He was eventually diagnosed with Mycoplasma pneumoniae-induced rash and mucositis (MIRM).
