- Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the secondary packages of two glycerin macerates obtained from rosemary, products that are released over the counter. In the case of this type of products, the impression that the package makes on the buyer is decisive for its possible purchase. The secondary package is the "presentation coat" of a product, which informs the buyer and at the same time indicates the accuracy, the care and the seriousness with which that product has been manufactured. As a working method for the comparison of packages, the quantification of marketing qualities was used. The two evaluated secondary packages, the only ones existing on the market, belong to the companies PlantExtrakt and Hofigal. The results of the research evidenced the superior marketing qualities of the package for the product "Rosemary shoot extract" of the PlantExtrakt company.
