- Abstract
The prevalence of techno-stress, some variables associated with this phenomenon and the significant differences between men and women are analyzed. Through a quantitative, nonexperimental, cross-sectional and exploratory study, 60 teachers from Puebla (Mexico) who work in Higher Secondary Education were selected non-probabilistically. Technological overload, daily work intensity, techno-invasion and socio-emotional consequences of working outside working hours were found as some of the creators of techno-stress; likewise, inhibitors seem not to exercise their protective role. The techno-stress found in the sample points to the need for more studies on the phenomenon during and after the pandemic.
