- Abstract
The article presents a case study related to using a visual research method called Photo Elicitation Interviews (PEI) for self managing health behavior. It mentions the cohort study conducted on 10 women suffering from type 2 diabetes to analyze the effects of PEI on self-management behaviors such as consumption of butter biscuits, donuts and the change in eating behavior from fast food to healthy breakfast. It highlights that PEI helps in understanding chronic diseases' self-management.
