- Abstract
The article discusses the processes used by practitioners to gather information and choose methods assessment in pediatric practice. Practitioners started gathering information by asking initial questions, and then made individualized assessment choices for each based on the initial information. To obtain the best evaluation of each child's situation, practitioners used a balance of formal and informal assessments.
