- Title
Cough and cold hygiene.
- Abstract
The article focuses on a survey conducted by the Department of Health in Great Britain as part of its Catch It! Bin It! Kill It? campaign, which revealed that three quarters of mothers are unknowingly instructing their children the improper routine when it comes to handling coughs and sneezes. It states that not one mother reported teaching their children to wash their hands after sneezing or coughing into them. It notes that the aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the importance of practising good respiratory and hand hygiene.
