- Abstract
This article discusses a case study of an 81-year-old woman who presented with nose bleeds and a nasal polyp. The biopsy revealed features of anaplastic large-cell lymphoma (ALCL), but further testing showed that the diagnosis was actually enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma (EATL) involving the nasal polyp. The patient also had a history of coeliac disease (CD) and jejunal resection revealed EATL and refractory coeliac disease type 2 (RCD2). The article highlights the challenges in diagnosing and distinguishing between different types of lymphomas and emphasizes the importance of clinical correlation and awareness of relevant clinical details. The patient received treatment but unfortunately died 9 months after the initial presentation.
