- Title
Trial Volunteer Registry.
- Abstract
The article reports on an online registry created by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) called the Research Match registry. The registry is intended to help match individuals who are willing to participate in clinical trials with researchers trying to recruit suitable volunteers. It is noted that qualified researchers will not have an access to patients' identifying information or contact information, unless with the permission of the volunteer. Institutions are administering the program, overseen by the National Center for Research Resources.
