- Title
ORDINAL PREFERENCE AND RATIONAL CHOICE.
- Authors
Herzberger, Hans G.
- Abstract
The article investigates problems about the ordinal theory of rationality. The first problem to be faced is how to determine the logical framework appropriate for a test. It was found that logical interconnections can be established. The results articulate rationality postulates which might either confirm or compete with the ordinal theory. The postulates are interderivable with the ordinal theory and can be construed as a contributor to its intuitive basis. The formulations of theorems lay the groundwork for weak theories of rational choice.
