- Abstract
The article present a study on cannabinoids reducing brain power. It mentions the presence of cannabinoid receptors to exist on mitochondria, when activated by endocannabinoids regulates energy metabolism. It presents a model of pmCB1s and mtCB1s in presynaptic nerve terminals. It mentions that mitochondria not only respond to eCBs, but also produce them. It is included that Cannabis derivatives and the ECS are investigated for physiological effects and therapeutic potential.
