The article discusses a case of an 11-month-old girl with recurrent episodes of upper respiratory tract infection since birth, Topics discussed include the results of transthoracic echocardiography, computed tomography angiography and intraoperative transoesophageal echocardiography (TEE) performed on the patient, primary pulmonary vein (PV) ostial stenosis resulting from an abnormal incorporation of the common PV and sutureless marsupialization technique.
