- Authors
Malmsheimer, Robert W.; Newman, David
- Abstract
The article discusses the significance of limiting the role of the U.S. Forest Service in the expansion of informing forestland-specific tax policies to legislators. It mentions that the agency is not made to address tax policies on national nonforest issues to the legislators nor analyze the neutrality, efficiency and fairness of tax policies. It states that the agency should not be advocating specific policies to legislative policymakers.
