- Abstract
The article examines the negligible welfare influences of the international food aid provisions in the 2014 Farm Bill. Topics discussed include food delivered by non-profit group Food for Peace to recipients in 44 countries in fiscal year 2012, changes authorized by the food aid provisions in the 2014 bill to the 2008 Farm Bill, and the proposal of U.S. President Barack Obama to authorize up to 45 percent of Title II food aid to be sourced outside the U.S.
