- Abstract
ALND indicates axillary lymph node dissection; Neg, negative; RNI, regional nodal radiation; Pos, positive; TNBC, triple-negative breast cancer. gl In many respects, this patient is the ideal candidate for NAC. Patients with positive nodes who became clinically node-negative after NAC underwent SLN biopsy with a planned ALND, allowing for determination of the false-negative rate (FNR) of the SLN biopsy procedure. Identification and resection of clipped node decreases the false-negative rate of sentinel lymph node surgery in patients presenting with node-positive breast cancer (T0-T4, N1-N2) who receive neoadjuvant chemotherapy: results from ACOSOG Z1071 (Alliance). Long-term radiation complications following conservative surgery (CS) and radiation therapy (RT) in patients with early stage breast cancer.
