- Abstract
The Taguchi approach is a proven method for improving interaction boundaries and the nature of the segments created. The goal of this investigation is to demonstrate the technique used in applying Taguchi Technique to a final processing measure. The Taguchi approach is a proven method for improving interaction boundaries and the nature of the segments created. The goal of this investigation is to demonstrate the technique used in applying Taguchi Technique to a final processing measure. Accordingly, a suitable orthogonal array was selected, and experiments were conducted. After conducting the experiments the material removal rate (MRR) was measured, Signal to Noise ratio, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and a regression equation was calculated. These results show the optimal levels are the speed of 1000 rpm, feed rate of 100 mm/min, 1 mm depth of cut. The Taguchi approach is a proven method for improving interaction boundaries and the type of created segments. The goal of this study is to demonstrate how Taguchi Technique is used to a final processing step.
