- Abstract
When the proportion of large cars on urban trunk roads is large, the sight of small car drivers in the recognition area is blocked by large cars in the same direction ahead, resulting in the loss of important traffic information. Making full use of the geometric relationship between the car, the road, the person, and the signs, the dynamic recognition area of the small car driver divides into the visual area of the sign, and the disappearing area of the sign. Establish the probability model of dynamic failure of traffic signs, according to the survey data, carry out the simulation and verification of the model by combining VISSIM software. The results show that the mixed ratio of different large cars has a significant influence on the dynamic failure of traffic signs, and with the increase of the rate, the probability of failure increases, and an individual linear relationship between them. Different traffic volume will also have an impact on the probability of failure, with the rise in traffic volume, failure probability also increased. The more traffic volume, the higher the probability of sign failure, the non-linear relationship. The road section and the intersection simulation conclusion are consistent.
