- Title
Should Your Nurses Be Licensed to Call Across State Lines?
- Authors
Rosow, Mona Peterson
- Abstract
This article addresses issues related to nursing in the U.S. Nursing is generally defined in the states as either the diagnosis and treatment of human responses or an act that requires substantial specialized judgment and skill based on the knowledge acquired by a completed course in an approved school of professional nursing. The lines and the law become less clear when a nurse or other health care provider is used to give health care information over the phone.
