- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT) in evaluating the levels and quality of evidence in healthcare design. Topics include the importance of evaluating research used in evidence-based design (EBD), the five sections of MMAT to be used for different study types like qualitative, quantitative randomized controlled, and quantitative non-randomized, and the development of two case studies using a systematic approach to appraise EBD-related studies.
